About The Role
This position is integral to our collaboration with a prominent financial institution aimed at enhancing financial stability and addressing the cycles that contribute to financial exclusion and adverse financial conditions affecting housing.

You will provide exceptional housing guidance and advocacy aligned with the local community priorities of the Birmingham hub, which include:

  • Assisting families in crisis due to homelessness
  • Enhancing living conditions within the Private Rented Sector
  • Reducing obstacles for individuals facing multiple disadvantages

This role involves engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness and substandard housing to identify and address local community issues.

You will be responsible for planning and executing casework for individuals and communities to improve their housing circumstances, while also networking and collaborating with community organizations and stakeholders to raise awareness of housing rights.

About You
You possess the skills to actively listen, engage, and collaborate with individuals and communities, as well as with various stakeholders, including conducting group workshops and presentations.

Your experience and knowledge in housing and homelessness support are essential, with the capability to develop specialized expertise.

You will conduct casework interviews, maintain comprehensive case records, and provide guidance and support to clients, empowering them to make informed choices, in addition to facilitating group workshops and presentations.
