About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at KAMM Group Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising Material Purchase Orders in the COINs System
  • Updating supplier pricing in the COINs System
  • Liaising with site contacts to ensure accurate material delivery information
  • Checking and competing supplier invoices
  • Completing invoice query resolution and liaising with the purchase ledger team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • The ability to prioritise and manage expectations
  • Excellent communication skills over telephone and email
  • Ability to communicate materials information to multiple departments
  • Knowledge of the COINs procurement system (advantageous, but training will be given)
  • Advanced knowledge of construction materials, including concrete road kerbs & slabs, precast concrete drainage, clay drainage, plastic plot drainage, insulation, reinforcing mesh and bar, and general merchant materials
