About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Talent Finder. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising Material Purchase Orders in our procurement system
  • Updating supplier pricing in our procurement system
  • Liaising with site contacts to ensure timely material delivery
  • Checking and competing supplier invoices
  • Completing invoice query resolution and liaising with our purchase ledger team
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate materials information to multiple departments
  • Knowledge of the COINs procurement system is advantageous, though training will be given
  • Advanced knowledge of construction materials, including concrete road kerbs and slabs, precast concrete drainage, clay drainage, plastic plot drainage, insulation, reinforcing mesh and bar, and general merchant materials
