About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at Matchtech. As a proud partner with SSE, we are actively seeking a talented individual to manage our operational teams and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and lead operational teams to prioritize safety in all activities, ensuring that teams receive adequate training to meet competency and compliance standards.
  • Culture Development: Promote a culture of "right first time" to reduce customer complaints and improve overall service performance.
  • Operational Planning: Proactively manage future works and programs to minimize disruptions and preventable mistakes.
  • Contractor Management: Review and approve contractor method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits to identify hazards and implement necessary controls.
  • Vehicle and Driver Management: Manage vehicles and drivers to adhere to driving standards policies and the highway code.
Requirements
  • Exceptional People Management Skills: Demonstrate exceptional people management and delivery skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, diplomacy, and the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Qualifications: Desirable qualifications include NRSWA, SMSTS/SSSTS, and CDM training.
