We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Planned, Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and site operations with our suppliers. This is a key role within our Operational Services directorate, responsible for delivering the right sites, in the right locations, always accessible and always on.
Key Responsibilities- PPM Programme Management: Own and proactively manage the delivery of the PPM programme and follow-on maintenance activities by the supplier ecosystem against contractual obligations and industry benchmarks.
- Service Underperformance: Undertake direct intervention to identify root causes of service underperformance, instigating recovery initiatives to deliver and improve service performance.
- Plan Assurance and Approval: Be accountable for the assurance and approval of detailed plans for the management of PPM based on service requirements, current backlogs, changes in site status, and incremental service demand due to condition to achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets.
- Site Maintenance and Compliance: Responsible, in conjunction with the MBNL H&S, infrastructure management, estates, and compliance teams, to ensure sites are maintained in a safe and compliant way while maintaining the longevity of the assets by the supplier ecosystem.
- Supplier Management: Work with the MBNL Commercial Management Team for the proactive management of approved suppliers to achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets.
- PPM Function Leadership: Strong experience of establishing, developing, and leading a PPM function to achieve agreed business outcomes, performance targets, and industry benchmarks.
- Technical Services Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of the methodologies, processes, and capabilities required to deliver best-in-class technical and business services.
- Contractor and Supplier Management: Strong experience of managing, motivating, monitoring, and improving performance of contractors and suppliers.
- Relationship Building: Strong experience of building deep, effective relationships and an appreciation of organisational politics. An ability to use these to socialise and influence stakeholders.
- Leadership and Influence: Experience of working with, briefing, and influencing senior members of leadership teams.
- Customer, Commercial, and Technical Requirements: Experience of managing the natural tensions between customer, commercial, and technical requirements.
- Industry Best Practice: Experience of bringing industry best practice into an organisation and using this to drive continuous improvement and knowledge of how to lead and manage high-performance teams.
- Remote Team Management: Experience of managing remotely located, cross-functional teams.
- Safety, Quality, and Compliance Knowledge: Strong safety/quality/compliance knowledge of mobile or fixed network technologies.
- JV Organisation Experience: Experience of working in or with a JV organisation.
