Drainage Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Design Engineer to join our Design and Business Services team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and produce drainage calculations, flood risk assessment reports, drawings, design models, design strategy reports, and specifications.
- Coordinate drainage and civil engineering design information within the team and with other technical design disciplines.
- Develop sustainable drainage strategies for projects and obtain necessary consents through the Local Authority Planning Approval process.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, and represent the civil engineering team at meetings.
- Experience in designing drainage systems to CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual guidance.
- Experience in making applications for sewer adoptions.
- Experience in preparing and interpreting Level 1 and 2 flood risk assessment and site drainage strategy reports.
- Experience in consulting with local sewer operators and Lead Local Flood Authorities.
- Professional qualifications such as BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng in Civil Engineering or Environmental Sciences, and CEng, Member, or Associate Member of Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management or similar.
