Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Kier Group. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of civil and structural related services in both Temporary and Permanent Works throughout the Kier business.
Key Responsibilities- Temporary Works Design and Checking: You will be responsible for designing and checking Temporary Works above and below ground in all materials, integrated with Permanent Works design if applicable.
- Alternative Solutions and Value Engineering: You will contribute to the delivery of more complex services by providing solutions that are safe and buildable, enhancing Kier's reputation and competitive position.
- Tender Stage and Bid Winning Support: You will provide support at the tender stage and bid-winning process, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation.
- Technical Assessment and Review: You will conduct technical assessments and reviews of 3rd party designs, ensuring compliance with the brief to meet client and Kier requirements.
- Experience: You must have several years of post-graduate experience in a related field.
- Temporary Works Design: You should have an interest in Temporary Works Design or have experience in it already.
- Full UK Driving Licence: You must have a full UK driving licence.
