Your Role:
  • Deliver project management services effectively in a client-facing capacity.
  • Oversee the management and execution of construction initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle, employing best practice methodologies.
  • Foster and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders in alignment with AtkinsRéalis values.
  • Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring service delivery and acting as a key stakeholder.
  • Accountable for the financial success of projects under your management, including the efficient handling of project accounts, governance, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis policies, toolkits, and standards in service delivery.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to mentor and support the professional development of junior team members.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities that align with the business strategy and seek out market prospects for new or repeat business.
  • Contribute to the preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions.
  • Support senior colleagues on large-scale, complex projects.
What You Bring:
  • A degree qualification (or equivalent), preferably in a construction-related field.
  • Membership in a recognized professional institution (MRICS, CIOB, MAPM, or equivalent) or actively pursuing accreditation.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset, capable of working independently.
  • Experience in building strong client relationships and professional networks.
  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and successfully delivering projects through established project management methodologies.
  • Solid technical project management knowledge with demonstrated experience and capability.
  • Experience in administering standard UK building contracts (NEC and JCT forms) and advising on suitable procurement routes.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation pertinent to the UK construction sector.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • A valid driving license.
