Position Overview: Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Management Senior Leader to oversee our Biological & Water Recycling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of projects or critical components within projects, ensuring comprehensive management from inception to completion.
  • Supervise operational sites and their respective teams, including Project Engineers, Site Managers, Supervisors, and Sub-Contractors.
  • Act as the primary liaison throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inquiries to final acceptance and documentation.
  • Engage with clients to understand specific project requirements and conduct necessary site assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to Project Quality deliverables and procedures, aligning with both Internal and Client Quality Systems.
  • Oversee offsite modular construction solutions.
  • Develop and manage Tender, Design, and Construction Programmes throughout the Project Lifecycle.
  • Direct and allocate tasks to Trade Operatives & Apprentices, focusing on quality, productivity, and safety.
  • Prepare and manage Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans, assuming Principal Contractor responsibilities.
  • Produce risk assessments and method statements, while managing health, safety, and environmental considerations.
  • Engage with subcontractors for liaison, tender specifications, quotations, and health & safety documentation review.
  • Manage project finances, including budget establishment, monthly forecasting, and profit/loss accountability.
  • Oversee project Change Management, ensuring a clear understanding of scope and early identification of changes to implement contractual mechanisms.
  • Complete contract documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in Project Management, ideally with an engineering or supervisory background.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and organize daily workloads effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and demands through analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials across various engineering disciplines, particularly Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.
  • Possess persuasive and motivational skills to foster cooperation among diverse stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams towards successful project completion.

Additional Information: Experience in the water sector is highly advantageous, although candidates from other specialized engineering fields will also be considered. A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
