Role Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Project Manager to join our Property team, based in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow office. You will be responsible for delivering significant property schemes throughout Scotland and the North of England.

Our team is involved in delivering some of the region's largest and most exciting building projects in the residential, commercial office, and sports and leisure sectors, ranging from £2m to £1bn+ in value. We have a fantastic pipeline, and these projects will provide you with opportunities to grow as an individual and work on industry-leading clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with colleagues to provide pre- and post-contract project management services.
  • Acting in other related capacities, including Employers Agent and Contract Administrator, to support our PM Team in achieving service excellence and positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Managing small to medium-scale projects or assisting as part of a team on larger projects, ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines.
  • Presenting project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted and ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standards.
  • Analysing and reviewing data to identify key themes and trends and using the outputs to produce recommendations that support project decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing small to medium-sized construction projects.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and organisational understanding.
  • A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Attainment of OR near attainment of relevant professional certification or chartered status.
