Aston Charles Ltd is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support its senior underwriting staff in the servicing of existing clients and the growth of its portfolio.

This role has arisen due to an internal promotion, which is a regular occurrence within our growing organisation.

We provide insurance for a variety of fascinating risks and distribute our business through insurance brokers, price comparison sites, and trade associations.

Your key responsibilities will include calculating premiums, reviewing renewals, analysing data and trends, dealing with broker enquiries, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be detail-orientated with good numeracy skills and comfortable using Microsoft Excel. Previous experience in the insurance industry is required, although underwriting experience is not necessary. We will consider talented candidates from broking, claims, or underwriting who are keen to enhance their professional development within a top firm.
