About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Manager to join our Data Quality & Standards team at the East of England Ambulance Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Resolve Data Quality Issues: Utilize your analytical skills to identify potential data quality issues in our key information systems, data warehouse, and data lake.
  • Extract, Collate, and Interpret Data: Extract, collate, and interpret information from multiple systems to inform data quality improvements.
  • Manage Data Quality Reporting Solution: Oversee the Trust's Data Quality reporting solution, IntoZetta, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and Implement Data Quality Solutions: Create queries in SQL to implement data quality solutions, monitor, and cleanse activity by system users and administrators.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with asset owners to resolve system-related data quality issues affecting Trust reporting and with operational teams to create/refine processes to reduce input of incorrect data and user errors.
  • Develop and Maintain Reporting: Create additional reporting on data quality issues in Excel and Power BI, and develop detailed assurance reports on identified data quality issues for escalation through internal governance processes.
About Our Team

The Data Quality & Standards team was established to increase focus on data quality issues across the organisation. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with multiple teams across different directorates, including technical and non-technical disciplines and operational and non-operational staff.

We are a supportive and open team, consisting of staff with a wealth of understanding of many roles and systems across the organisation. We draw on the expertise of multiple specialists across the Digital directorate and our operational colleagues to achieve the shared goal of improving data quality in line with the Trust's policy.
