About the Role

The East of England Ambulance Service is seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Manager to join our Data Quality & Standards team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and address potential data quality issues in our key information systems, data warehouse, and data lake.
  • Extract, collate, and interpret data from multiple systems to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage our data quality reporting solution, IntoZetta, to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and implement SQL queries to monitor and cleanse data activity, working closely with system users and administrators.
  • Collaborate with asset owners to resolve system-related data quality issues affecting our reporting.
  • Work with operational teams to create and refine processes to reduce input errors and user mistakes impacting our reporting.
  • Design and create additional reporting on data quality issues in Excel and Power BI.
  • Produce detailed assurance reports on identified data quality issues for escalation through internal governance processes.

The Data Quality & Standards team is dedicated to improving data quality across the organization. As a member of this team, you will work closely with technical and non-technical disciplines, operational and non-operational staff to achieve our shared goal of delivering high-quality patient care.
