Paramedic Functional Assessor

Maximus is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments and produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills. You will work with customers to understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce detailed reports to support their claim.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
- Produce detailed reports to support a person's claim for benefits
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision
- Valid HCPC registration number
- At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
- Salary £37,800
- Flexible working - full time, part time and hybrid
- No bank holidays, evenings or weekends
