Paramedic Functional Assessor

As a Paramedic Functional Assessor at Maximus, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities or health conditions navigate the benefits system.
With our comprehensive training program, you'll develop the skills and confidence to conduct thorough assessments, gathering valuable insights into how a person's condition affects their daily life. Your expertise will inform the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decisions, ensuring that individuals receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition
- Produce detailed Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to inform DWP decisions
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision
- Flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, and hybrid options
- No bank holidays, evenings, or weekends
- Leading maternity and paternity paid leave
- Bank holidays plus 25 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell 5 days
