Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of analytical solutions utilizing Microsoft Power BI. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather their needs, develop data models, create engaging reports and dashboards, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data. Key Responsibilities: **Report and Dashboard Development:**
  • Craft and produce interactive reports and dashboards leveraging Power BI.
  • Convert business needs into technical specifications and data models.
  • Design visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations.
**Data Modeling:**
  • Create and refine data models to facilitate reporting and analytics.
  • Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting tools.
  • Execute data transformations using Power Query (M language) and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
**Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:**
  • Partner with business stakeholders to comprehend their reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Conduct sessions for requirements gathering and document specifications.
  • Offer training and support to end-users on utilizing Power BI reports and dashboards.
**Data Integration:**
  • Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs.
  • Develop and sustain data pipelines and ETL processes to load data into Power BI.
  • Ensure regular and accurate data updates.
**Performance Tuning:**
  • Enhance Power BI reports and dashboards for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Monitor and resolve performance issues.
  • Implement best practices for data visualization and report development.
**Security and Compliance:**
  • Establish and uphold data security and access controls within Power BI.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and privacy policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • Strong grasp of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification is advantageous.
