The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions utilizing Microsoft Power BI. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop data models, create interactive reports and dashboards, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data. Key Responsibilities: **Report and Dashboard Creation:**- Design and create engaging reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Convert business needs into technical specifications and data models.
- Develop visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations.
- Construct and enhance data models to facilitate reporting and analytics.
- Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
- Execute data transformations using Power Query (M language) and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Partner with business stakeholders to comprehend their reporting and analytics requirements.
- Conduct sessions for requirements gathering and document specifications.
- Offer training and support to end-users on utilizing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for loading data into Power BI.
- Ensure data is updated regularly and accurately.
- Enhance Power BI reports and dashboards for optimal performance and scalability.
- Monitor and resolve performance-related issues.
- Apply best practices for data visualization and report development.
- Implement and uphold data security and access controls within Power BI.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and privacy policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Microsoft Power BI certification is advantageous.
