Job Title: Sales Consultant

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team at J&W McCall Supplies.

We are looking for someone who will maximise sales, build strong relationships with customers, and continually strive to exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the end-to-end sale for customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Identify and assist customers with product selection.
  • Commit to high standards of customer service.
  • Deal with all retail purchases and enquiries relating to our Tile and Bathroom products.
  • Follow up on general phone enquiries, support the branch in all aspects of customer service, and convert into successful sales.
  • Establish customer contact, arrange appointments and visits to the showroom, and proactively develop new sales opportunities.
  • Provide customers with a detailed and agreed specification and quotation based on their requirements.
  • Maintain and build relationships with customers.
  • Continually update your knowledge of products by participating in company and supplier training to achieve department sales targets.
  • General housekeeping of the department to ensure all products are adequately stocked in a clean and presentable manner.
  • Cash handling, operation of counter tills and computer system.
  • Work within other departments as requested to meet customer demands.
  • Participate in company stock takes ensuring an accurate count of all stock.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above.
