**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team at J&W McCall Supplies. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maximize sales revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term loyalty and retention
  • Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers to meet their needs and exceed their expectations
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve departmental sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the branch
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Participate in company and supplier training to stay up-to-date on products and services, and to enhance sales skills and knowledge
  • Perform cash handling and operate the counter till and computer system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are adequately stocked and presented in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as needed to meet customer demands and achieve business objectives
  • Participate in company stock takes and ensure accurate counting of all stock
  • Comply with all regulatory and legal requirements, and adhere to company policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in operating a point-of-sale system
