About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Permitting Officer to join our team at VolkerHighways in Luton. As a key member of our Highway Maintenance Contract (HTMC) team, you will be responsible for ensuring all works on the network are permitted and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate permit applications with Local Authorities
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and legislation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on permit-related matters
Requirements
  • Experience of working within Street Work permitting
  • Good knowledge of NRSWA and Traffic Management Act
  • Understanding of Lane Rental Schemes
  • Familiarity with Confirm and/or Alloy Asset Management Systems (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
