About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Specialist - Mental Health, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services and enhancing the medicines-related care of patients in our Adult Mental Health inpatient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medicines management and reconciliation, to support the provision of high-quality patient care.
  • Work closely with specialist pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medicines management strategies.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health pharmacy services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to medicines management.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Relevant post-registration pharmacy experience, including mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of psychotropic drug therapy and medicines management principles.
