About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to fill the position of Admin Team Leader within the TRC, part of the Respiratory department at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Admin team based in the TRC, located in the main hospital on D level.
  • Coordinate and implement administrative processes along the patient pathway to ensure efficient and smooth patient journeys.
  • Build strong relationships with Patient Services Centre, Pathway Co-ordinators, Medical Secretaries, Ward Clerks, and other relevant staff.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for areas and patient pathways, and maintain excellent communication channels and customer services.
  • Ensure all patient administration is carried out in line with Trust policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory or management post, either within the NHS or with transferable skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to develop and nurture fellow team members.
  • Organised and flexible approach to the role.
