Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Analyst to join our team at Barclay Meade. As a key member of our financial analysis team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our business units, including the UK and International Military Aircraft contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Data Consolidation: Consolidate bids and cost data from across our organization and external partners as necessary.
  2. Bid Financial Analysis: Put together the bid from the financial information perspective, establishing and predicting the cash contract value.
  3. Cash Accrual Analysis: Analyze and predict the cash accrual on an annual basis to be used as sales value.
  4. Cost/Sales Value Projection: Provide cost/sales value projection year on year.
  5. Risk Management: Critically review proposals to ensure costs are complete and manage the risk from a financial perspective of the data used to support bid submissions.
  6. Business Unit Support: Support the UK and International business units through negotiations as required.
  7. Contract Flow Down: Complete financial analysis for contract flow down between legal entities and departments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a depth of understanding of aircraft cost behavior, particularly the Procurement and Supply Chain process and supplier cost behavior. You will also need to be able to work within a complex, multinational, multi-functional engineering/manufacturing industry, dealing with and analyzing large amounts of data.

You will be required to provide credible data associated with projection-based profitability, quotes, analysis, contract engineering and production data, historical data, future cost, indexation, product development projection, etc. This post requires the ability to deliver a service to strict and demanding deadlines in order to assist bid submissions.

Additional Responsibilities

You will also be responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work, and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety, and environment.

Provision of ad hoc financial analysis in support of Product, Capital & Site Investment in the UK is also a key aspect of this role.
