Job Title: Head of Fundraising and Income Development

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Head of Fundraising and Income Development. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives growth and sustainability for our charity.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fundraising, with a strong understanding of the charity sector and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading a team of fundraising professionals and working closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement a fundraising strategy that aligns with our charity's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives growth and sustainability for our charity
  • Lead a team of fundraising professionals and provide coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups
  • Work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement a fundraising strategy that aligns with our charity's mission and goals
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our fundraising efforts and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of success in fundraising, with a strong understanding of the charity sector
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people
  • A strong understanding of the charity sector and the ability to develop and implement a fundraising strategy that aligns with our charity's mission and goals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership-building
