Regional Sales Representative Opportunity

Glen Callum Associates, a leading international recruiter specializing in the automotive aftermarket, is seeking a dynamic and driven sales professional to join their successful sales team in the UK.

About the Role:

As a Regional Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the company's growth in the UK market, selling directly to garages and workshops in the East of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a background in the automotive aftermarket to join a forward-thinking global organization that rewards success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the company's growth in the UK market by selling directly to garages and workshops in the East of England.
  2. Manage your sales pipeline, following up on leads generated by the Marketing team and generating your own leads by visiting garages and workshops in your sales territory.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations and manage the sales process from trial period to sign-up.
  4. Maintain accurate customer records on the company database (MS Dynamics).
  5. Attend automotive industry events and trade shows from time to time, using your product knowledge and understanding of the vehicle repair industry to engage with customers.
  6. Work effectively with the wider sales team, marketing, customer support, and order processing, acting as a customer advisor and communicating product feedback.

Work Arrangements:

Field-based, travelling throughout the East of England.

Ideal Locations:

Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Colchester, Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Ashford, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Rochester, Chelmsford, Harlow, Braintree.

Requirements:

  1. Proven, successful experience in a direct/field sales role is essential.
  2. Previous knowledge or experience of the automotive aftermarket is preferred.
  3. A knowledge of diagnostic tools or automotive technology products is highly advantageous - other service, maintenance, and repair or bodyshop sales experience is also welcomed.
  4. Comfortable doing product demonstrations with a laptop and experience of Microsoft Office.
