Job Title: Reliability Engineer - Asset Care Specialist

Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer - Asset Care Specialist to join our team in Cardiff, UK. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our assets, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans, utilizing advanced Asset Management techniques such as Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Work closely with the Asset Care Manager and other Engineering Team members to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of asset care plans, leveraging the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and SAP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Planning, and Logistics, to ensure alignment and effective communication of asset care plans and production priorities.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) to drive equipment performance efficiency and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and implementation of a culture of safe behavior and contractor health and safety within the production and engineering areas.
Requirements:
  • A time-served apprentice completed within a manufacturing industry, with a strong grounding and understanding of advanced Asset Management techniques.
  • Strong operational grounding within a complex fast-moving manufacturing environment, with experience in manufacturing environments and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Good practical understanding of factory services, including electricity, steam, compressed air, and water.
  • Significant levels of computer literacy, particularly in relation to CMMS and SAP PM.
