Job Title: Reliability Engineer

Princes Limited is seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team in Cardiff, UK. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the Asset Care Manager and other team members to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Utilize advanced asset management techniques, such as Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team Leaders, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Planning to ensure seamless execution of production plans and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Planning, to ensure that asset care plans are executed as scheduled and that production priorities are met.
Requirements:
  • A time-served apprentice with a strong grounding in manufacturing industry practices.
  • Strong operational knowledge of advanced asset management techniques, including CBM and RCM.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships across other business teams and functions to ensure effective communication at all levels.
  • Significant levels of computer literacy, particularly in relation to CMMS and SAP PM.
