Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Revenue Growth Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for converting individual, event, mini-group, and group enquires for The Store Oxford, as well as proactive sales designated by the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify leads from varying sources to ascertain business potential for groups and events for The Store Oxford.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure a seamless, personalised, and memorable guest experience.
  • Identify potential sources of new business (rooms, food and beverage, spa, and events) by analysing evidence of buyer activity in competitor hotels, trade directories, sales leads, and proactive research.
  • Arrange site inspections for prospective clients and prospect business.
  • Issue contracts and proforma invoices upon successful negotiation, including the calculation of deposits and understanding cancellation policies.
  • Pro-actively follow up on all prospect and tentative bookings, keeping the Director of Sales informed as to the progress of all bookings.
  • Be fully conversant with the hotel's Unique Selling Points, history, product, special rates, and promotions, as well as all possible configurations of all sellable function spaces.
  • Liaise and build strong, positive working relationships with all departments and external suppliers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in sales, particularly in a hotel setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of customer preferences.
  • Experience of using Opera and Delphir essential.
