About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at New City College. As a key member of our estates and facilities team, you will be responsible for the operational management and strategic development of all estates and facilities-related services at our Epping Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on capital investment in the physical estate and manage adaptation, alteration, refurbishment, and improvement projects and associated budgets.
  • Manage a high-quality team in delivering exceptional value and customer service to the college community.
  • Develop and deliver capital programmes on time and to budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage BMS systems and building services engineering.
  • Lead on health and safety, fire safety, and security.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Relevant professional qualifications.
  • Extensive experience in the management of all aspects of hard and soft facilities services and health and safety.
  • Ability to demonstrate substantial experience in building and building services engineering, management of BMS systems, compliance, change and contract management, and the development and delivery of capital programmes.
