Fraud Detection and Prevention Specialist

Awin is seeking a highly skilled Fraud Detection and Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent activities within our affiliate network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate publishers on the Awin and ShareASale networks to ensure compliance with network Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct, and Client Program Terms.
  • Monitor and analyze performance and transactional data to detect suspicious activities and potential fraud.
  • Develop and implement advanced fraud investigation strategies to improve fraud monitoring capabilities.
  • Assess the risk associated with publishers' activities and make decisions according to sanction options for publishers who are found fraudulent/non-compliant.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance processes, tools, and quality of operations continuously.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fraud handling and fraud prevention measures and tools.
  • Provide advice and training to internal and external partners on fraud prevention, detection, and resolution strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service and/or fraud investigations.
  • Relevant experience in an online setting, indicating familiarity with digital platforms, social media platforms, and e-commerce environments.
  • Excellent client service skills, with a track record of proactivity and a proven ability to enhance client performance.
  • Demonstrated skill in using the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technology systems, network tools, and processes.
  • Initial experience with AI/ML/LLM systems for anomaly detection, and a passion for working at the forefront of technology and innovation in fraud detection.
