Job Description

Role Overview

LaplandUK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Manager to join our team. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day retail operations of our experience, ensuring that our retail stores are fully staffed and stocked, and that our teams are fully briefed and trained in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Develop and implement retail strategies, including product, visual merchandising, and sales forecasts, to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our guests.
  • Event Operations: Ensure that all retail departments are set up and closed efficiently, and that cleaning, stock levels, and visual merchandising standards are consistently met.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm and welcoming service delivery.
  • HR: Train and develop team members to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met, and maintain and improve the morale of our Retail Elves.
  • Loss Prevention: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that stock movements are properly recorded and stock wastage is minimized.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Strong operational and leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and influence others.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
