We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Rollesby Ward, a 10-bedded female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Norwich. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of clinical staff, providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff in areas related to clinical care, treatment, therapy, and risk assessment and management.
- Develop and implement processes and systems to share learning from local and national research and national guidance.
- Work closely with the clinical care team and relevant teams to utilize information and data to support the implementation and embedding of best practice.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
- RMN qualification
- At least 2 years of experience at Band 5
- Ability to problem-solve autonomously and demonstrate leadership and management skills
- Understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality and medication management and treatment
- A comprehensive in-house and external training program
- Starting annual leave of 27 days per annum increasing to 33 days pa based on length of service (plus paid bank holidays)
