About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Nursing Bank, you will provide high-quality, individualized care to service users with mental health, learning disability, and children's and adolescent mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess service user needs, devise care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
  2. Participate in the assessment and treatment of service users, providing holistic care that addresses their unique needs.
  3. Act as a Named Nurse for individuals in the service area, providing a comprehensive approach to service user assessment, treatment, review, and management of packages of care.
  4. Lead a nursing staff team in the absence of the Charge Nurse.

Requirements

Essential

  1. Academic qualifications: NMC registration.
  2. IT skills, particularly MS Word.
  3. Experience of assessing and managing clinical risk.
  4. Physically fit and able to complete prevention and management of aggression training.
