Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Specialist Rehabilitation Team at the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will provide high standards of rehabilitation care to patients with specialist needs.
Main Duties
- Deliver evidence-based care to a high standard, with excellent communication skills and a supportive approach to team working within a rehabilitation setting.
- Structure your own learning, supported by the team, to gain new knowledge and skills that benefit yourself and the service.
- Work with families and colleagues in complex discharge planning and best interest discussions.
- Provide a high standard of nursing care to patients, with a commitment to supporting rehabilitation to maximise patients' functional ability.

Person Specification
- Essential qualifications: 1st level nurse qualification in adult nursing, evidence of recent update, registered General Nurse with UK Nursing and Midwifery Council, mentorship/supervisor trained or willingness to complete this.
- Desirable qualifications: evidence of recent learning and development relevant to tissue viability, continence, diabetes, care management.
- Essential experience: experience supporting students, experience of Clinical Supervision, commitment to understanding the role of other disciplines, experience of day-to-day management of nursing team.
- Desirable experience: worked successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team, experience of initiating, amending and implementing care management, experience in Rehabilitation.
