Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing staff development, leading the recruitment process, and enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Development
    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct regular appraisals and quality checks to ensure employee performance and development.
  • Recruitment
    • Lead the recruitment process by implementing innovative strategies and attending job fairs.
    • Conduct interviews and ensure effective onboarding of new employees.
  • Employee Engagement
    • Identify and implement improved working arrangements, benefits, and perks to enhance employee satisfaction.
    • Arrange team-building activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • DEI Strategies
    • Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Employee Relations
    • Manage and resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters through fair and transparent processes.
  • HR Operations
    • Maintain employee HR records and monitor the training schedule.
    • Proactively arrange the renewal of employee training as required.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Formal training qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, BTEC Award Level 3) and a CIPD Diploma I.
    • TAQA award in assessing vocational achievement Level 3.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years' experience within a HR role, preferably within the passenger transport, logistics, education, care, hospitality, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with a diverse workforce at all levels.

Benefits

  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays.
