Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing staff development, leading the recruitment process, and enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Development
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular appraisals and quality checks to ensure employee performance and development.
- Recruitment
- Lead the recruitment process by implementing innovative strategies and attending job fairs.
- Conduct interviews and ensure effective onboarding of new employees.
- Employee Engagement
- Identify and implement improved working arrangements, benefits, and perks to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Arrange team-building activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- DEI Strategies
- Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to foster an inclusive work environment.
- Employee Relations
- Manage and resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters through fair and transparent processes.
- HR Operations
- Maintain employee HR records and monitor the training schedule.
- Proactively arrange the renewal of employee training as required.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Formal training qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, BTEC Award Level 3) and a CIPD Diploma I.
- TAQA award in assessing vocational achievement Level 3.
- Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a HR role, preferably within the passenger transport, logistics, education, care, hospitality, or manufacturing sectors.
- Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with a diverse workforce at all levels.
Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays.
