Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team at The ONE Group Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving customer growth, managing key customer relationships, and representing the Sales function within the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and customer acquisition.
  • Customer Management: Identify and assess new business and adjacent market opportunities, including potential new services and standards.
  • Negotiations & Sales: Lead negotiations throughout the business acquisition process and provide actionable commercial insights to guide business decisions.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Address customer issues, including claims and logistic/quality crises, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Travel & Collaboration: Collaborate with Key Account Managers in other regions to ensure consistency on a global scale and participate in project teams to advocate for the customer's perspective on quality, costs, and delivery timelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in key account management or commercial roles.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the automotive market.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Expertise in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility: Adaptable and flexible, with an open approach to meeting diverse customer needs.

What We Offer: Company Car / Allowance, Location: Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire - Flexibility for remote work, Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel within the UK and Europe.
