Job Title: Sales/Showroom Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales/Showroom Consultant to join our team at Chiltern Recruitment Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients as they browse our extensive range of products within the showroom. This will involve guiding clients through the buying process, providing product advice, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receiving visitors in a polite and professional manner
  2. Providing product advice and design ideas to clients
  3. Raising quotations and processing orders as necessary
  4. Dealing with telephone enquiries and problem-solving
  5. Taking payments on orders and booking/chasing deliveries
  6. Providing technical advice and sales aftercare
  7. Assisting with complaints in a professional manner
Requirements:
  1. Previous customer-focused background
  2. Ability to deliver a great customer buying experience
  3. Strong communication and organisation skills
  4. Ability to work within a small team and on own initiative
  5. Computer literate with basic Maths skills
  6. Smart appearance and polite, professional approach
  7. Self-motivated with a good eye for design
  8. Ability to remain calm and factual when dealing with distressed/demanding customers
