Position Overview

This managerial position is focused on supervising the movement of materials from the initial receiving stage through to production and final shipping. Key responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies for production scheduling, material management, inventory oversight, and distribution logistics. The role will also encompass continuous improvement initiatives such as kaizen events, gemba walks, and process audits. Furthermore, you will spearhead the implementation of new systems to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure team safety and adherence to compliance standards

  • Conduct regular audits of processes and provide coaching for enhancements
  • Enhance problem-solving skills within the team
  • Offer onsite support for production scheduling
  • Identify underlying causes of production challenges
  • Facilitate cross-training on various planning methodologies
