We are seeking a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing production processes to join our global manufacturing company as a Production Planning Manager.
The successful candidate will have previous planning, inventory control, or supply chain experience and be confident in implementing and overseeing continuous improvement activities.
The main focus of this role is to ensure a smooth material flow from Production through to shipping. As a LEAN practitioner, you will lead the development and implementation of procedures and standard work for production scheduling, material handling, inventory management, and distribution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing material flow from receiving raw material through to Production and final dispatch.
- Leading the introduction of new systems such as water spider routes, PFEP (Plan for Every Part), and the use of capacity planning in the ERP system.
- Managing a team of 4 direct reports.
Requirements:
- Previous Planning, Inventory Controller, or other Supply Chain related experience required.
- Detail oriented and works in a structured environment.
