Job Title: Power BI and Analytics Specialist

About the Role:

MRC Global is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team and contribute to the success of our International business. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Interactive Reports: Create visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards to provide key insights to the International Leadership Team and the wider business.
  • Develop Complex Data Analysis Expressions: Write DAX expressions to create measures, calculated columns, and tables to support data analysis.
  • Optimize SQL Queries: Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Integrate Data Sources: Integrate data from various sources, including SAP business systems, to create comprehensive data models.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure Data Security: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting solutions.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in DAX and SQL, experience with SAP business systems, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
