Job Purpose:
As a Store Manager at H&T, you will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team of store colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve store financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Motivate and support each colleague to achieve quarterly goals, ensuring the team is ready, excited, and amazing for each customer.
- Team Development: Build a team of trained, passionate, and flexible colleagues who are confident in their roles and multi-skilled across all store products.
- Customer Service: Create an inviting in-store experience and encourage the team to make friends with each customer, understanding their needs to deliver the right outcome.
- Operational Compliance: Manage the team and oversee the store to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant environment that protects people, customers, and property.
- Financial Management: Drive store performance against key targets and optimize service levels to achieve financial goals.
- Area Contribution: Make an active contribution to the wider area team, thinking bigger than personal performance to ensure business success.
- Projects & Initiatives: Implement projects, communicating clearly with the team to minimize disruption and ensure successful changes with customers and colleagues.
Essential Requirements:
- Be energized by a busy shop floor and enjoy watching colleagues connect with customers.
Desirable Requirements:
- Store management experience.
- Customer service experience.
- People management experience.
Total Hours: 37.5hr
