Casemaking Technician

Momart Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Packing and Casemaking Department as a full-time, permanent Packaging Technician. Reporting to the Packing Manager, this role involves handling and shipping fragile works of art, including operating workshop plant and machinery, fabrication, wrapping, packing, and completing operational paperwork.

The ideal candidate will possess practical skills, a flexible attitude, and a keen sense of responsibility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fabrication and preparation of packing systems, linings, and wraps
  • Operation of plant and machinery within the workshop in accordance with Momart Ltd's training and operation procedures
  • Manual handling of a range of objects, some of which may be heavy
  • Wrap and pack fragile art objects (intensive training provided)
  • Following procedures as required by company security policy
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy workshop environment
  • Adhering to Health & Safety procedures according to company policy, in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
