Job Title: Children's Team Leader Nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Nights Team at Options Thorpe House, a specialist residential service for individuals with autism, complex needs, and/or learning disabilities. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth running of the home, supervising a team of dedicated Adult Support Workers, and working as a proactive role model within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of Adult Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, complex needs, and/or learning disabilities.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home, including managing rotas, staff development, and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that individuals receive person-centered support that meets their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a residential care setting, preferably with individuals with autism, complex needs, and/or learning disabilities
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
