About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Options Roxby House, a specialist residential service rated CQC Outstanding. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth running of the home, supervising a team of dedicated Adult Support Workers, and working as a proactive role model within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of Adult Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, complex needs, and/or learning disabilities.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home, including managing rotas, staff development, and quality assurance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that individuals receive person-centered support that meets their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including education and therapy, to ensure a holistic approach to supporting individuals.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care – Adults or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a similar setting, preferably in a residential environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams, with a proven track record of staff development and retention.
  • Ability to effectively train individuals and groups, with a focus on promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
