We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Dräger. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving and processing inbound deliveries, managing inventory, and preparing outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Unpack, check, and put away inbound deliveries, and inform recipients via the booking in system.
- Book in items for repair, and verify that all relevant accompanying forms are completed and accurate.
- Log errors on incoming goods in the relevant system.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm tests and record the outcome with Facilities.
- Prepare and dispatch items according to internal processes.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate for outgoing items, including export and dangerous goods documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in necessary training to fulfill all duties.
- Manage local waste stored in the warehouse in accordance with regulations.
- Support team absence by working different hours, with additional hours reimbursed at the standard rate.
- Maintain an overview of pool cars in case of team absence.
- Undertake other duties and projects to meet personal, team, and organizational objectives.

This role reports to the UK Customer Services Manager.
Team EnvironmentThis role is part of a wider team of around 20 people, with a close-knit team of 2 people.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Secondary education level or equivalent commercial experience.
- SAP experience (desirable).
- Dangerous goods awareness for road, air, and sea transport (desirable).
You will also need to possess:
- A polite, friendly, and assertive manner.
- Good organizational skills.
- IT literacy with telephone skills.
- The ability to organize and prioritize tasks to benefit internal and external customers.
- Manual handling skills.
- Reliability.
- An eye for accuracy.
