The Opportunity: Deputy Director – Health, Wellbeing and Participation

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Health, Wellbeing, Participation, and Service Improvement programs. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of children's services and make a tangible difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of our existing Health, Wellbeing, Participation, and Service Improvement programs, ensuring they achieve their objectives and deliver impactful outcomes for children and young people.
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for our service improvement consultancy offer, expanding our reach and impact within the children's sector.
  • Champion a child-centered approach, prioritizing the voices and needs of children and young people in all aspects of our work.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to drive collaborative solutions that benefit children.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the children's workforce, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively promote the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in the field of children's health, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
  • A strong commitment to promoting children's rights and ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Expertise in supporting systems change at a local level, driving positive impact for children and families.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong program management and analytical abilities.
