Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our client's Software Engineering team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and supporting their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of a team of software engineers, promoting development and supporting team members.
  • Completion of allocated requirements, design, implementation, and testing tasks to a high standard, within schedule and estimates.
  • Software development of solutions, adhering to project processes and software development practices.
  • Testing of completed functionality, accurately reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership.
  • Supporting System Test and Integration Activities, design of technical solutions, and generation of requirements.

Background Required:

  • Proficiency in C# and C++ programming languages.
  • Lead or management experience, with a strong understanding of full software lifecycles.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally in the Aircraft/Defence sector.
  • Object-oriented design and development skills.
