Software Engineering Team Lead

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to join our client's Software Engineering team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and supporting their development.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Management of a team of software engineers, promoting development and supporting team members
* Completion of allocated requirements, design, implementation, and testing tasks to a high standard, within schedule and estimates
* Software development of solutions
* Testing of completed functionality
* Adherence to project processes and software development practices
* Accurate reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership
* Supporting System Test and Integration Activities
* Design of technical solutions
* Generation of requirements

**Background Required**

* Proficiency in C# and C++
* Lead or management experience
* Understanding of full software lifecycles
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally in the Aerospace and Defence industry
* Object-oriented design and development
