Job Title: Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our client's Software Engineering team in Bristol, working on cutting-edge programmes of work across the Aerospace & Defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support for their development.
  • Lead the completion of allocated requirements, design, implementation, and testing tasks to a high standard, within schedule and estimates.
  • Develop software solutions and test completed functionality.
  • Ensure adherence to project processes and software development practices.
  • Accurately report progress and provide feedback to team members and leadership.
  • Support System Test and Integration Activities.
  • Design technical solutions and generate requirements.

Background Required:

  • Proficiency in C# and C++.
  • Lead or management experience.
  • Understanding of full software lifecycles.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally in the Aircraft/Defence sector.
  • Object-oriented design and development skills.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new Software Engineering team in Bristol, working for a world-renowned player in the Aerospace & Defence industry. You will be part of the Air division, working on programmes of work across Eurofighter Typhoons, Aircraft Simulators, and F35 Fighter Jets.

What We Offer:

Up to £60,000 + Bonus + more.
