Barker Associates is a leading property consultancy and trusted advisor, offering a range of services including architecture, project management, quantity surveying, engineering, and building surveying to a diverse client base.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team, working on a variety of civil engineering projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our Head Office, offering a hybrid working arrangement once your induction is complete.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing calculations and technical design information to deliver innovative civil engineering solutions, for both new-build and regeneration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients to achieve long-term goals.
  • Deputise for the Line Manager when absent.
  • Provide preliminary civil engineering schemes for review by the Line Manager.
  • Produce detailed technical designs using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Hydraulic Modelling.
  • Review and submit technical documentation and drawings for final delivery.

Requirements:

Qualification Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or apprenticeship and a minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Progression to undertake corporate membership towards the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
